Yes, I was talking a little bit with Elphie of which Disney character would be who Ariel-Kaylee Eric-Simon Belle-River Mal-John Smith Inara-Esmeralda Wash-Ling (My vote) Zoe-Mulan Jayne-Gaston Book-Sebastian (cause that's just funny XD ) Saphron- Vanessa Here's another possible cast! Ehehe! Hey, tell me was the "Simon" of the wedding party single?  XD Wouldn't we all like to know? He had his wedding, Firefly and all, and made me admit I wrote TLM fanfic over the summer. I loooooove Milo as Wash. That's even funnier. And it makes me giggle thinking of the Emperor warning about special hell. |

We're needing to post tidbits from what we've done with that idea, Kelly and Jess. You went to the wedding??? How awesome! XD I wish I could have gone to it, even though, ya know? I'm neither a friend of te bride or groom.... but I'm a friend of the groom's student. That counts for something, right? XD |

Next time I'll be sure to hide you out in my basement so you can sneak around and ask lotsa questions. XD No, I didn't attend the wedding, but he was talking about it. I had to go back to school Mon-Thurs to get the first issue of the newspaper done, and he's the one that coordinates it. School starts next Wednesday for me, so I'm freeee until I help with Freshman day on Tuesday. D:
Oooh yes, I would like to see what you guys did with that cast.
ETA: I just came home from a journalism workshop at some college and he went with his firefly vest on. It was like Mal walked into the room. Of course I told him of my beta reader's Firefly obsession. He could relate. XD

Okies, meant to post a bit about this a while ago but here's what we came up with about the Disney-fied Firefly. So.... After Pocahontas broke it off with John Smith (I'm sorry but that was so bad,even if it was historically accurate xD) he also gets black-balled by Ratcliffe. So John has been dumped by the girl he loved, and lot a lot of support in the mean time. However he does have the means to purchase a ship of his own and take on assignments (legal or illegal) Ariel never came back after what happened in TLM3, so she basically was by herself in the ocean, earning a small living sort of performing as an under sea "street performer"  Well, one day she met John while he was searching threw abandoned ships before they sunk completely for spare supplies. John took Ariel under his wing and offered her a job on the ship. Ariel found a source to turn her human, like she always wanted, then not long after that, took a liking to carpentry, that shortly became her job on the ship. Esmeralda was a prostitute as a lot of gypsies were, but she however was one that didn't just service anyone, she had a special clientele. One of her clients was a solider named Phoebus, that she actually began to love, with the intention to marry. Frollo, put a stop to that when he murdered Phoebus and framed Esmeralda for it. Heart broken Esmeralda flees Paris, and then rents a space on board John's ship so she could service her international clients, and stay hidden fairly well.... Eric's family didn't die when he was really small, so he had no need to try and fill the void with sailing so much, or try to make family out of friends. However he was a tad introverted as we'd all assume. But when he was about seven years old is when his father commissioned an inventor named Maurice from France. Maurice brought along his young daughter, about Eric's age. And almost instantly, due to the similar personalities, Eric and Belle were as tight as two friends could be. Neither one in that time felt quite as odd ballish, since they had each other to rely on. It changed one day when Belle was offered a chance to attend a special school for gifted girls, which was unheard at the time, but Belle was so excited and Eric encouraged her to go. Time passed and Eric didn't hear anything from her, until he got a letter that made no sense. After more research he founf out Belle was in serious trouble. He kept trying to convince the others around him of it, but the "school" only reassured them. Eric wasn't satisfied with the answer so he sort out more he sort out more help. Eventually from the gyspy group he met, and a series of painful energy boosting treatments, he was able to gain some skills as a magician. His main skill was that he could heal a person. However, this skill has a set back. Since he would feel everything the person he was trying to heal was feeling. If the pain was too intense he might lose concentration and the person would die (and of course he'd feel guilty, and weak. blah, blah, angst, angst. ) ANYWAY, back to the plot, Eric gets caught in a bad area trying to do more research to help Belle. Then is told if he kept pursuing this "talent" and "false theory" he'd pretty much be given the "if you go, don't bother coming back." Eric eventually snuck in to find Belle, and they escaped. He found out they had done a number to spells to her. One was a magical sort of barb-wire that was wrapped around her soul, with the intent that if they tortured her so much from within, she eventually give her soul up and become a pawn in their hostel take over. Also, during these spells they tried to manipulate other parts of her mind, giving her a psychic abilities. The group was then after Eric and Belle. But what Eric and Belle didn't know was that their were other girls, they wanted to exploit for their take over too.... Anyway, I'm sure I'm forgetting something xD. i need to give more info on other charries, but those are still bouncing around a bit. Also. now I kind of think Tina and Naveen would be cool for Zoe and Wash. Also, I think Book and Jayne should be seperate people too xD |
