Hi guys! My username is Aquisha, but my real name is Paige. I'm a musical theatre performer in my last weeks as a senior in college (woohoo!). I hope to one day be in TLM on Broadway; I've already picked out my track!
I've loved TLM since I saw it in the movie theatre when I was two. I always wanted Ariel to be my big sister and even now, I can't help but see her that way. Ariel and Eric are just my favorite people in the entire Disney universe. They are fantastic and I love them!
Other than that, I love musicals, movies, literature, and just pop culture in general. Some favorites: LOTR, Wicked, Aida, Superhero movies (Iron Man is my favorite), Jane Eyre, Les Misearbles, Vampire Chronicles, Harry Potter, and Beauty and the Beast.
You'll probably see me gushing about Eric or writing about both him and Ariel in fanfiction around the forum!
P.S. I'm really excited about the Princess and the Frog because of the return to 2D animation and because for the first time in my life I'll actually have a chance at being a Princess in Disney World and that just makes my life!

I love Jane Eyre! Did you actually get to see it by any chance? Got it for my sister for her BD and we both expected it to be terrible, and ended up loving it. I adore whoever it is that played Mr. Rochester. Blanking on his name right now.
It's so awesome to finally "meet" you!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I can't tell you how excited I am for this site!
Well, I have never seen or heard the music from Jane Eyre the musical, which kills me because it's my favorite book! My current favorite of all the film adaptations is the Masterpiece Theatre version that came out in 07 I think. It's the most honest the book and man who play Edward Rochester just makes my heart happy! It's sad that of all the dashing Percy Blakeneys and Marius Pontemercys in literature, I am hopelessly in love with the middle-aged once handsome confirmed bachelor who life chewed up and spit out! P.S. the old Joan Fonteyn/Orson Wells version ain't too shaby either...
In TLM, I would love to be one of the sisters and sing "She's in Love" (favorite new song in the musical!), but the track that I think I'd have a better shot at actually doing is (for those of you who've seen the musical) the one little fish that lingers on stage at the end of the "Under the Sea" reprise. She gets to be a seagull in "Posituvity" and one of the princesses in the contest, I think. That would make my life if I got to do that part!

Speaking of the Masterpiece Theatre version of Jane Eyre, my sister and I are in the middle of watching it right now.

*Massive gasp* OMG, I love that movie! Coral, please tell me what you think! I am in love with Toby Stephens? (I think that's his name), aka Mr. Rochester! As aforementioned, that's my favorite version of that book; it's just fantastic.
And thanks guys for votes of confidence! I'll try not to disappoint with my eminent career!

I love it! It's hands-down my favorite. And you need to buy the cast recording of Jane Eyre. Amazon should have it. It is wonderful!!!!!!! Jane is an alto, and Mr. Rochester is a baritone.
