We see a little bit of it from the outside and inside in the film and some concept art shows a little more. We get some impressions from the artists in the commentary but as a whole I'm wondering how audiences imagine Eric's castle. And by audiences I mean those of us obsessed enough to wonder about these things. What are your general impressions of the castle? How do you imagine rooms/places you don't see? What do these places mean for certain characters? Did anyone else notice how many plants are in the castle? The whole outside obviously--the whole back end is covered in trees--but there are a lot of decorative things too. I was looking at the castle in a Disney layout artbook and there are a ton of decorative trees/bushes along the castle. There are decorative plants all around the inside too. Even on the head of Ariel's bed. Not a bad choice IMO, just really odd and interesting. It does a great job at warming up the palace.
