I agree, that part made me very happy, too! I hope Ron and Jon's next hand-drawn movie would be a lot better than the Princess and the Frog. Not to nitpick on it but I felt that it was missing something that made it fall short of the classics.
Everybody thinks hand-drawn animation is still dead, but I disagree. When I took Intro. to mass Communications, I learned that it costs more money to do a hand-drawn movie than it is to do a CGI movie. That could be the reason why Disney said they would release a hand-drawn movie every 2 years instead of every year like they did during Walt's era or during the '90s.
