A.K.A. the Little Mermaid's long-anticipated Blu-Ray release. I'm not quite sure when we should expect this out, but I hope it's soon!
Some questions:
What special features would you like to see on the Blu-Ray?
What restorations would you like to see made or taken out from the Platinum release?

I'd love interviews with the cast. I know we can't have Triton and Scuttle, but everyone else is still around. Jodi is the only one we ever hear from. I'd love for everyone else to chime in with their thoughts and memories of being part of the revival of Disney.

Back in 1989, Disney Channel had interviews with Scuttle and Eric so I like to see them in the Blue-Ray release. Another thing I like to see are character designs of all characters.

I'd love to see interviews with the cast as well. VAs, animators, artists from the last ink-and-paint film, etc.
I'm really hoping for another commentary as well, or at least having the one from the DVD on the BluRay. I love listening to it.
I agree with you, faya--I'd love to see more behind-the-scenes RE character design. We got that with Ursula, but I'd love if they included galleries with model sheets or concept art to show the evolution of the characters and what the animators used as references to bring them to life.
Restoration-wise I think they did a decent job on the DVD, although I have some issues with the way they colored Ariel's tail. I'm guessing they colored it that way to make it a direct complement to her hair, but I liked Ariel's more blue-green tail rather than the sickly green she gets in some scenes.

You know, I still haven't watched it with the commentary on.
