Okay, I'm a little obsessed with this topic. Mer-culture: We've had three movies and a TV series to mull over, but really, what's mermaid-dom really all about? What kind of holidays do they have, and where did they originate? What kind of wars? What kind of regions outside Atlantica and Pacifica? What famous places, famous people? How do OTHER regions feel about this marriage between a mermaid and a human?
