I like 'em a lot! Awesome band. Why'd they split?

Thanks for the link, Zavi! That stinks that they broke up. I like the two other songs too Okay, I am addicted to this video, and for some reason, I think the song fits Ariel and Eric well. "What's Left of Me" Nick Lachey Maybe it's because if Jimmy Stewart were alive and his prime, he could play Eric in the live-action version of TLM ( of course that man was such a brilliant actor he could play just about everyone ).

I love that movie! My favorite part has to be when Mike is carrying Tracy back from the pool and he starts singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Jimmy was so cute <3! *will stop spamming this thread*

Dunno why they split. They're (partially) together as "The Age of Information", but from what I've heard, their songs aren't as good. Must look them up again.
"Never Saw Blue" - Hayley Westenra It just has the light, sweet quality of a mer-voice. A lot of her songs have lyrical connections with the ocean.
And of course, she has a rendition of "The Water is Wide":
Warning for country music:
"A Little More You" - Little Big Town So carefree and alive! Oooh, I love it.
Also, I've been re-listening to The Scarlet Pimpernel soundtrack and...is it wrong that "Madame Guillotine" conjures images of Vanessa? Poor Eric!
Have no idea what the clips are from, just ignore them. As far as I know the song alone isn't on YouTube.

I love Haley Westerna!! Her solo song on the last Celtic Woman CD is my favorite one on the whole thing.

This:
The clip switches are enough to give me seizures, but the song is quite cute.

You're right about the clips, but it was nice to see a few of the better snippets from TLM 2. The song is very nice.

Isn't it? I'm very sad that the vidder didn't do the entire song, since the excluded lyrics are more fitting than the ones included. And I bring you more Celtic music! This haunting song reminds me of both Ariel's hypnotic voice and Vanessa's own siren song. (: Cathie Ryan's a wonderful Celtic musician and it's certainly worth checking out some of her other songs. Unfortunately "Somewhere Along the Road" isn't on YT (except for low-quality versions) but it too fits the TLM theme. Lyrics: Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me Beyond the present storms that blow Waiting patiently No secrets held in an open heart A spirit that soars over mountains Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me
Somehow a guiding light Always shows the way To those who lose their way by night Searching for the day A day away from happiness Tomorrow will bring a new sunrise Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me
Sometimes when winds are still Unexpectedly Perhaps beyond this silent hill A voice will come to me Raise your eyes and see my world Raise your voice and sing out Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me
Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me Beyond the present storms that blow Waiting patiently No secrets held in an open heart A spirit that soars over mountains Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me
Somewhere along the road Someone waits for me [/i]

the song, "If you're not the one," seems to fit Eric because he knows Ariel couldn't be the girl who saved him yet, he wonders why does his heart go BA-DUM BA DUM BA-DUM for her. In fact, I found an awesome music video about it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=y74-HtkV1HA
