In 48 hours I will be a married woman. The rehearsal went pretty good and the food was to die for. My Cajun SIL made gumbo and jambalaya for it and it was so good!

I know, right? After everyone's horrible weeks have passed by it's turning out great. Congratulations, everybody!
I wiped out in the grass today and had mud all down one leg of my (kahki) pants. It was really embarrassing, but in a laughable kind of way. I had to walk home like that and fish out some more clothes which have already been packed for camping. XD
I might be just hallucinating, but didn't you say you got a new job, Jodi?
Edit: Oh, so it was in the Star Trek thread! -tosses confetti-

*Giggles* Well to be perfectly honest I actually love seafood. Especially sushi. Allthough I usally get eel rolls, and we all know eels are evil anyway. Ah well.

Well, my birthday is coming up soon, so I got a new TV (40" Sharp Aquos LCD), and a Blu-Ray Player.
Other than that, nothing much has been going on, other than working.

Haha, King Triton would not be happy with any of us. I love seafood and we DID go fishing. Shrimp and salmon are my favorites, but I'll eat just about anything with fins.
I came home a couple of hours ago and I'm pretty fried, though I had lots of fun. We seriously had an intense debate on Disney movies, and I went on a spiel when someone commented on Ariel's ditziness. XD We got to run around on the beach and hang out on the lake. That night I realized I couldn't cook a marshmallow without catching it on fire.

Gotta love Disney-freak friends. I'm pretty sure we have those discussions constantly.
I tried to get the marshmallows decently cooked, but they just caught on fire. They were still good though. XD One of us had a gummy bear and we held that over the fire, too. She said it was pretty good.
Mmm, makes me hungry for seafood! DC had the best. Fish. Ever.

Ariel, ditzy? What on earth was that person smoking??? Ariel is not ditzy. Just a little self-absorbed at times. Which is not entirely a bad thing.
I now have a whole new perspective on all those terrible Eric/Ariel first night as husband & wife fics now. They truly are terrible and those writers know NOTHING about it!!! (I'm a woman fully growed now, since I'm married,. lol)

XD As awkward as it is hearing that, I totally agree. I've read so many GOOD scenes (original fiction, of course) and I just want to yell at those fanfic authors: stop going so smoothly! Those characters don't have a clue what they're doing, for Poseidon's sake! Granted my own marriage is 10+ years away and, goshdarnit, I still have college to suffer through...
Should be worth it in the end, though.
