What is your favorite sport of all time? If you don't like sports, then you can post anyway lol..
Anyway, mine would be pro-wrestling. ;D

Really? Never would have guessed! This thread is totally appropriate for Poseidon's Palace. This section is the general hang-out place where we can talk about nearly anything. Human Stuff right now is more for movies. Anywho, my favorite sport is Thoroughbred horse racing! Kentucky Derby is in one week!!!!!! And I'm getting married on Preakness Day. It'll be the first time I've missed watching the race in over 10 years.

I like partaking in sports my than watching them, unless it's swimming. I LOVE swimming. I actually did compete in my local pool's meets a couple years in a row. I came in first in the free style once, and the backstroke I came in second. Those were the years I LIVED at the pool. Back then I don't think I cared as much about what I looked like in a bathingsuit Basketball is another fun one, and so is volleyball.

The Preakness is always held in my hometown ;D, I've never been though, probably too crazy for me, but then, I'm a wrestling fan, so maybe that's a little shocking I would've probably tried out swimming, if it was done where I live. I pretty much stink at every other sport lol..

Preakness Day is the only day that the general public can get into the infield. Pimlico has a reputation as a snobby track that's not terribly friendly to the average person. Goes back to the glory days of racing in the late 30's, when War Admiral ruled the East coast. Because of that attitude the Preakness is the only thing that keeps the track alive.

You're not kidding, considering the area around there isn't what it used to be.

Not sure if it would count as a sport, but my favorite sport is Karate. I'm still a white belt, but it's fun considering you learn self-defense and get exercise at the same time. My favorite real sports are tennis and basketball. Tennis is just awesome XD. I love playing it every summer when my family goes to our ocean resort. Basketball's really fun too. I used to love swimming, when I was younger, but I haven't really done it in a while. I have to retake lessons this summer, which should be fun.

I love tennis! I remember once, in fourth grade, I accidentally hit the ball at my...erm...male instructor. Let's just say he was in lots of pain afterwards...
Hiking! Equestrianism! Those are totally real sports.
Haven't been riding in a long time, but I'm probably going to go back this summer. I don't really do competitive sports--just running around or taking a nice walk in the woods. I ski as much as everyone else from New Hampshire does. Ayuh, it's wicked fun. XD
I met Bodie Miller (the New Hampshire winner of Olympic skiing) in an ice cream shop once. He ordered pistachio, if anyone's curious.

XD. I'd love to go horsebackriding, but I remember when I was little, I got the chance but I clammed up and ducked out. Now I'm very upset with myself

I love riding horses! Haven't been in years though. I used to do it once a week.

Karate is actually considered a sport lol.., as it should be.
Anyway, here's an add on, what are your least favorite sports?
Mine would have to be Rowing, Tennis, and Horseshoes, to name a few.

Baseball and football, purely because my dad coaches the teams on TV like they can actually hear him through the screen. I can hear him from the other side of the house. He does it with golf too, but that's a quieter sport.
Over here we're on the Red Sox side of the Sox/Yankees war, so I say I like the Yankees just to piss people off. I don't really care about either team.
