My husband has a job!!!!!!! We're moving to Long Island in January sometime. We don't have the official start date set in stone yet.
I'm excited! But it's going to be total culture shock for both of us. Snow will be a novelty for several months, and he's never really seen it at all.

As a New Englander, the concept of anyone not seeing snow baffles me. I can't wrap my head around it. I hope it's a good experience for both of you! Wish you both well and best of luck on the move-in.

Congrats, seeing as how I know how hard it is to find a job. A few years ago, it took me about 7 months to find one. Right now, my brother has been out of a job since the summer. Life isn't fair sometimes, but oh well........that's life.
