Aww, you're too kind, guys. I used to have tests and projects this week in all my classes, but a couple of things got postponed. I'm safe! XD This is the first time in a loooooong time I haven't had any immediate deadlines. Now I can actually work on my portfolio all day.
My new camera is epic and I promise to take lots of pictures of Eric and Ariel if I go to WDW in February. (: Does VoTLM allow non-flash photography?
You know, besides the fact that I can appreciate the beauty that is David Kawena's Eric on DA, I can legally drive an ice cream truck! Okay, so Google already has those all over the place, but I don't need to tell you where I went first on DA today. -innocent grin-
ETA: I don't know if I can talk any further about this, but the college my friend is attending is having an emergency right now. Please wish her well; I'm really scared.

Yes. I don't think the PSU (Plymouth, not Pennsylvania) shooting scare got beyond local news, but a little while before I said stuff here, I had gotten a text from her saying that students were locked in their dorms because there was a gunman on campus. Naturally, I freaked out big time. They locked down the school and the surrounding area for several hours. They ID'ed the guy later that night (I didn't get word until after midnight), and it turns out he had some martial arts tool sticking out of his pocket. Don't know what, but multiple students had mistaken it for the end of a handgun. It got reported at at least now I know campus security rocks. She's fine now, of course, but nearly gave me a heart attack.

That's a relief!
Being from the South where everybody owns a gun and knows how to shoot one I don't understand how people can mistake so many things for the butt of a handgun.
